Nasi Lemak Charity Set and Egg Tart Charity Box which will be on sale this Sunday. - KD'Other Office Café & Bistro, Mr Baker's Bakeshop and Ranoadidas.com, supported by Syabas Publishers and Wan Sing Trading Co, are organising a "Four-Day Makan Makan Amal" to generate fund for the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund and Brunei Darussalam Fund for Flood & Landslide Victims.
The event will be held for four days from this Friday until next Monday from 9am until midnight at the ground floor of D'Other Office Café & Bistro in Kg Delima Satu (far end of HSBC Serusop).
Nasi Lemak Charity Set and Egg Tart Charity Box will be sold separately for B$5 per set/box. Fifty per cent from the proceeds will go to both funds.
Members of the public can directly buy the Amal Set during the charity dates or order through d.otheroffice@gmail.com and at Ranoadidas' website: www.ranoadidas.com
Ordering through the Internet will be closed this Sunday at 6pm.
Alternatively, one can purchase a B$10 coupon at D'Other Office and Mr Baker's Bakeshop. The coupon can be redeemed with the selected set on the said dates.
Besides that, a "Makan Makan Charity Hawker Stall" will be selling varieties of products to support the programme.
Additionally, a British Indian Curry Sunday Brunch is also being organised this Sunday between 10am and 4pm, with lots of games and attractions.
Part of the proceeds from the sale will also be contributed to the funds.
D'Other Office hopes to attract expatriates' participation in the fundraising activities.
Other activities will include food stalls from various restaurants, cafes and bakeries throughout the four days as well as a flea market and carnival activities to be held on Sunday and a National Day cake decoration contest on Monday.
